INTERNATIONAL STADIUM CONSTRUCTION WORKS ON SCHEDULE
The construction works of the Chiazi international stadium in Cabinda are running on schedule.
The contractor’s work is now focused on finishings, while the membrane covering for the metallic support structure is 90% concluded.
Also at their conclusion phase are the bathroom facilities in the dressing rooms, installation of television transmission cable, external painting and regulation of the benches for the placement of seats.
The technical installations have been concluded, namely telephones, water drainage system, electrical installations, fire detection and audio transmission systems.
Regarding the turfing of the field, the grass has been sown and the turf is now expected to germinate in the coming days. It is noteworthy that this is the first AFCON field where the turf grass is sown in the country.
