CAF holds ordinary assembly

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) assembled during 29 January of 2010 (Friday) to hold its 32nd Ordinary General Assembly at Talatona Convention Centre in Luanda. The agenda of the meeting comprised 18 topics related with the practice of football in Africa, focusing on the approval of the financial reports of 2008 and 2009, the activity report, the suspension, expulsion and admittance of members, the adoption of the budget from 2009 to 2011 and the proposals to amend the statues and regulations of CAF.

The meeting counted with the presence of representatives of the 53 federations affiliated to the continental football governing body as well as important figures of international sports, among them, the President of FIFA, Joseph Blatter, the host and president of the Confederation of African Football, Issa Hayatou, the Angolan Minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, and the president of the Angolan Football Federation and General-Director of the organizing committee of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations-Angola 2010, Justino Fernandes.
