Chiazi National Stadium
Located in Chiazi Block, the new stadium of Cabinda’s province will be provided with all equipment worthy of a modern sports arena as well as an adjacent pitch, which will be used for trainings or matches of training schools.
Provided with a bold architecture and wavy covering which reminds of waves from the sea of Cabinda’s province washed by the Atlantic Ocean, the Cabinda’s stadium has all the characteristics to be classified as one of the most beautiful stadia of CAN 2010.
China Jiangsu International was the company in charge of construction works.
Most important information about the new stadium:
- Capacity: 20, 000 spectators
- 204 VIP places
- 65 places for handicapped people
- 100 places for journalists
- 500 parking places
Training pitches
Cabinda’s main expected infrastructure is Tafe’s Stadium. Provided with a grass pitch, the stadium has the capacity for 5,000 spectators, although it now requires a new general restructuration programme of its infrastructures, already ongoing.
Two new pitches will be also built, one of them outbuilding the new stadium and other in Tchibodo.
