About the Competition

TUN_FLAGTunisia [TUN]

Over the past decade, Tunisia has been one of the top sides on the African continent. The North Africans share, with Cameroon, the continental record for the highest number of appearances in FIFA World Cup™ finals. However, they got lost in the way thanks to Mozambique who defeated them in the last day. The Cameroonians took advantage of their disaster and now prepare to the FIFA World Cup.

But CAF CAN 2010 is something else. The Tunisians come to the championship as candidates to the title, and they might take the trophy home with them. In the African competition, their track record is decidedly more illustrious. Unlucky finalists on two occasions (1965 and 1996), they finally managed to break the course and in 2004 won the trophy, after a 2-1 win in home soil over Morocco.

Tunisian football’s progress since the 1990’s has also been reflected at club level too, with the country’s top side regularly reaching the African Cup finals.

Hey,hey hey hey you there! Whatever you're MASRI, or MOZAMBIQI,etc,, we are what we believe. We got the cup before so why don't we get it now. I feel when cold blooded funs like you hindering the teams dream with such miserable hints certainly we would not get the cup.So please keep you're poisonous realism to yourself and let us dream in peace.

  • Best of luck TUNISIA
No I will not join the rest and begin by saying "WE WILL CERTAINLY GET THE CUP" because the reality is that a number of the African teams are very good too and anyone can win it. However let's hope our Tunisian team have done enough preparations to win it. We hope to see some good football of course and we wish our team ALL THE BEST and may good be with you.(and Inchallah marbou7a!!!)
